TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MERCHANT PARTNERS
The Host refers to Shop and Hire. The merchant refers to the individual or seller who has products to sell on the platform Tinda.shopandhire.net
Credited payments refer to customer payments added or credited to the merchant upon order fulfillment. This will be paid out on the nearest scheduled pay-out date via the MERCHANT’s designated online payment channel. Any fee incurred for payment transfers shall be deducted from the MERCHANT’s remittance.
Upon verifying the MERCHANT’s registration, the HOST will be responsible for the following:
1. Basic graphics design of the product photos, if found necessary
2. Uploading and activating the approved products on both Facebook and Tinda.shopandhire.net
3. Responding to basic product queries.
4. Informing the MERCHANT regarding product orders.
5. Sending of sales report once a week.
6. Accepting payments for the MERCHANT. Payments will be *credited to the MERCHANT’s webstore account, one (1) day after order fulfillment.
7. Shipping or product delivery to the customers.
8. Refunding unfulfilled orders that were paid online. This is why we wait for order fulfillment before crediting the customer’s payment to the MERCHANT.
9. Consolidation and turn over of *credited payments. This will be forwarded to the MERCHANT’s designated online account every Tuesday.
The HOST will do the above services for free, (except #7 – Deliveries) until the MERCHANT makes either a total sale of P1000 or a total of 8 transactions, whichever is achieved first. Once the MERCHANT hits an accumulated total sale of P1000, or a total of 8 transactions, the HOST will start deducting the following service fees (rounded up to the nearest whole number) from the MERCHANT’s next pay-out/ remittance:
1. Hosting fee = 3.5% X Sales Revenue (P3.50 for every 100 peso sale)
2. Administration fee = P2.50 for per Transaction, where 1 Transaction means 1 closed sale/ shipment/ delivery/ order number, regardless of the sales amount and count of items ordered.
The HOST will act as the MERCHANT’s customer support assistant, so the MERCHANT is expected to be responsive to any and all communications initiated by the HOST.
The MERCHANT must commit to immediately inform the HOST should any published product be discrepant with their submitted details; or unavailable for purchase or order fulfillment, or if there are changes in quality or quantity, or changes in price.
The MERCHANT will take the responsibility to secure their product packaging before sending or dropping-off their product/s to any of the HOST’s designated location on or before the agreed schedule. If the MERCHANT opts to have their items or products picked-up by our in-house riders, a fixed rate can be agreed on, depending on the location. Pickup via other logistics services is an option.
The HOST reserves the right to approve or discontinue it’s affiliation with the MERCHANT and their products on either the Facebook page and Tinda.shopandhire.net for any reason. The same applies to the MERCHANT with the HOST.
The HOST holds sole discretion to disapprove or remove products from Tinda.shopandhire.net and social media pages. The basis will include but will not be limited to:
1. Conflict with other existing Merchant products
2. The Merchant fails to fulfill an order more than once.
3. The product consistently gets negative customer reviews or 3 negative customer feedback within 30 days.
Reinstatement of previously removed products or MERCHANTS may be done after 2 weeks, upon the HOST’s review and full discretion. The HOST is not obliged to explain this decision further.
The MERCHANT agrees that there is no legal association between the HOST and the products sold by the MERCHANT. Therefore, the HOST, will not be made liable in any way, for any legal matter pursued by buyers regarding the MERCHANT’s product/s.
These Terms and Conditions may be revised by the HOST, in its sole discretion, any time for any reason. The MERCHANT is responsible to periodically review these TERMS AND CONDITIONS to stay informed of updates. The MERCHANT will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised TERMS AND CONDITIONS until the HOST receives an email from the MERCHANT stating otherwise.
Latest Revision: February 1, 2021
